Answered, silence on the line for a moment, then call disconnected. Possibly an autodialer. The silence was a bit too silent for a human caller on an open line.

Got a phone call; the guy on the end of phone told me he was from Telstra and my internet was going to be immediately cut if I did not go straight to my computer to internet explorer and type in the code as he advised; in a very rushed urgent manner he explained I had been virus hacked and this was mega super urgent that I did this. I hung up and blocked the number.

Here we go again... This is one of 12 Unknown mobile and landline numbers received in the last 18 hours. Now I pick up and leave the phone beside the radio speakers, on full blast. Hope they like the music...

This call was supposed to be from the Reserve bank saying that my accounts have been frozen and to stay on the line to talk to an operator to unlock them. I hung up
