He said he was from department of immegiration and only spoke Chinese couldn't speak and understood English.

This number bombed me 6 times in a roll and called me again with a different number for 4 times. Definitely a scam call just showing up the gov number they could find online. When I picked up i heard the classic scam call beep then an Indian dude’s voice.

i got a call frm this num saying that the are from immigration department and i fail to do some documentation when i entered the country, and saying me that many people hav been arrested for not following their instructions.... i just entered the number online and find out that its some spam call so i straight away disconnected the call and blocked...
be carefull guys with such fraudulent calls..

Same name and same story happened to me today. He asked me to submit 1300 AUD and he will keep holding.... But i smelled scam and disconnect his call... but i am surprised how he managed to tap DIBP no and call me??? Its all scam... police should catch these frauds...

I don’t even know now the immigration split to different suburbs.

i received the call from 'immigration'. The person said I was reported by someone, and I need to bring my passport to Canberra. I asked what specific issues and I could prepare for it. He could not tell, only asked me to bring the passport. I said I am not in that state. He said he didn't care where and how I would get there, I must be there next day. I am a citizen, nothing to do with immigration.

If there is a real staff, I will file a complaint.

Saying they are from immigration and have an important document to pick up in Canbarra and asked me to go there immediately.

I received a letter from the Dept. of Home Affairs with this number on the letterhead. I called this number many times which is a switch board number. Then they transferred me to someone and they did not even pick up after the call got transferred. Then I called the Minister's office. They did not help and told me to keep calling till they respond because they do not have access to the letters.

I contacted the National Security hotline 1800 123 400) about a possible scam.

They referred me to (02) 6264 1111) which was the immigration department.

a man called me from this number and said its really a confidential call. he said my id proofs has been found with some terrorist organisations and i am sending them money. firstly i panicked but then i got phone of my friend and called my brother. he said its a scam disconnect immediately. i did and for a second i was like omg what is happening and the guy on phone was speaking so harshly.

I receive a call from Immigration
They say I failed to follow certain procedure and for that I will be accountable
if I don't pay them the police will come to my house and arrest me
Good thing our house is near the police station so I decided to check with the police about the call I receive
I visited Hendra police station and they help me really quick. They told me its a scam and should not pay anything
