One guy called from this number and said they have received complain for me in Australian Immigration. He was asking me for the year of my arrival to confirm. I asked him if you have immigration details then you should know the year. Then he hanged up on me. Truly fake call.

Says I am calling from immigration( Indian accent) His name is councillor John smith and Australian embassy received complaint against me .Asking me to record my name in my voice then he will put me through Australian embassy when I confronted who are you he hung up

Says i am calling from Australian Immigration and Australian embassy recieved a complaint against me. saying please be on the line and i will pass to the case office who is managing your case. and i started laughing as i got the same type of call last year as well. and i hang up

Says I am calling from Australian Border and Immigration (Indian accent) and he is senior Councillor John Smith. Says I haven't submitted needed papers while applying for Australian Citizenship and there is a case filed against me. When I inquired more and asked him to send me all details at my postal address (as that's what all gov agencies does), he hung up.
This looks like a scam. Be aware, be safe.
