The Company does not claim to be a Registered Tax Agent but they represent their Clients to the ATO as their Legal Personal Representative and you lie through your teeth when you claim that all companies do not advertise the fact that they will get you back a maximum tax refund. Even HR Block that is so hopeless at it in Australia does say so. When you are audited and you fail the audit, it is your fault and not the tax practitioner's. You heard that people were receiving back so much and so you set out to exaggerate your deductions in the hope of receiving a bountiful too and blame it on the tax man who helped you out. Now you are found out and you want to claim that it is the other party's fault. Plenty of Rubbish. I am sure you are too scared to claim even whatever you are entitled to. On the hand ATO is also on record for disliking this company it is likely you got penalised just for dealing with them. If that was the case. You will be fine. ATO is made up of flesh and blood too. This company is NOT a registered tax agent and never have been according to the ATO. They promised me a great tax return instead I ended up getting audited by the ATO! I contacted the company many times on this matter and was told it would be sorted out; eventually they would not answer the phone or return calls. I received a huge fine by the ATO and ended up with a massive amount of money down the drain.
