The idiot called my mobile saying I used my passport to register a Chinese mobile number in China to sell the illegal drugs on the WeChat (WTF?!) and want me to share my mobile screen to a local Chinese public security (WTF!!!)

A woman speaks Mandarin called multiple times with random mobile number claim to be a Staff member from Chinese Embassy.
She accused me of activating an Australian mobile number in Beijing (WTF?), hence, I am banned from leaving the country (WTF again?)
She left a landline number (02) 6228 3999 before I hang up on her.
Scammers don't get much logical trainings these days. Where did they spend all the money they scammed from people?
Certainly not on their hard working employees.
女骗子（居然是普通话，不是胡建口音， 看来骗子也在与时俱进啊）说自己是澳洲领事馆的工作人员, 说我在北京开通了一个澳洲号码，所以被限制出境了。

Called in Mandarin, hung up straight away after I asked them to "speak in English".

Someone called me late Sunday afternoon in mandarin saying they have a COVID related doc for me from Chinese embassy.

Got a call from (02) 6228 5208. I let it go to voicemail. When replayed message was in Chinese. I do not speak Chinese. Assume scam like above mentioned similar numbers

They are at it again in mid 2020. How do they call from this number anytime they like?

This is a call from Chinese embassy.
I have been told, people who have visited Chinese massage parlour or Chinese escorts using their mobile phone will get their numbers exposed to Chinese scammers and you will start to get a call from the scammer.

Similar to other posts, received a call today. Message was left in Mandarin Chinese.
