I got a call from James Anderson, he claimed he is from the tax department (02) 6515 2916. But I wasn't home, my roommate pick up the call and he threaten if I don't return call he will take legal action...

Received call from this number on 14/7/17 & 17/7/17 on my work number said from ATO which I owe money. Hung up

Male with strong accent claiming I am being charged with Tax fraud and left a message asking my lawyer to call them today.

Yes rang me to say that there was a tax debt and you have to pay now of $5000. Tryed to get more information out of them but made no sense and also not very good English. Hard to under stand.

Had a message left to call back this number .
Returned called and was told I was being charged with Ta Evasion. Asked then to advise my tax file number and they hung up.
Scammers and yes Telstra should shut the number down.

Just got a call from this number some bloke raving on about some crap. No way I would believe him. If they keep ringing I will call back with a whistle in hand!!

Bloody scammers calling the home # and mobile - little do they know the ATO is actually a client of mine. When I asked if such and such instructed the call (assist tax commissioner) the called told me to f*ck off and stop wasting his time - always happy to help out lol

Me too! I got 3 messages from them saying the same...from the Investigation Dept of the Aust Tax Office!

This caller has left 13 messages on my phone claiming to be from Tax Office. Did not know that they worked on a Sunday. I don't think so
