Called my work number, said they were calling from India and the company was MIC - Make It Cheaper. Told her wasn't interested and to stop calling. Have got to work today and phone shows two more missed calls from them. They're a bloody nuisance !

Unfortunately when companies say they will not sell your info it does not mean they won't lease it as is likely the case here. I stupidly used a "reputable" energy comparison site which requires you to provide contact info and since have been hassled by several of these "companies". Simple solution for mobile users. Create a contact call it "spam" add said numbers to contact and block them.

Very annoying wont take no for an answer

Claim to be from MIC "Make it Cheaper" trying to sell electricity. Said they had sent a letter but a lot of people had not got it.

I got a call from this number and as soon as I answered they hung up within 3 sec. I simply block the caller. This is a scam and they will do it again in the future using another number. Never return a call where the caller is not known to you. You could be scammed for hundreds of dollars by simply returning the call.

I had a go at these people after receiving one-two calls a day for almost a week. Threatened them with harsh language, knowing it wouldn't make a difference to them, but I felt good afterwards. Downloaded an app that tells me who/what they are ("telemarketing", "scam" etc.). Works a treat. Then I blocked them. :-)

Called me on my work mobile asking to review my energy account, and something else about getting a better deal on electricity. Just responded to the guy's questions with further questions in a passive aggressive manner, he got the idea after about 30 seconds and hung up on me.

Had an odd call from this number just now, sounded like a very dodgy recorded message, I couldn't even hear it properly & call dropped after about 5 seconds - probably an overseas scam using these clowns for legitimacy http://www.symbionetworks.com/..

Got a call from them today. They didn't leave a message. I called them back and they said "Make It Cheaper" so I hung up as I read the messages above indicating they're selling stuff.

used my correct contact details on a energy comparison site, been getting calls from bulk random spam numbers ever since!

Hit my mobile daily. Thank god for reverse Australia which at least gives you a clue as to who the unknown number is......Pity you cant send a digital message in indian to "piss off"

called my work today also about the letter, i wasn't too sure about them so i told them we would call them back. Got their number and googled it and i found this. Warned everyone at work not answer them.
