I too got caught in this scam and got bombarded with emails, i did not answer this call and have blocked this number.

Didn't answer and checked out number on google. Will be blocking number. Thank to all for posting.

Caller: She sounded indian

They new my dob and email, that was scary , she spoke very quickly , something about a trip i had won,and was i able to leave Aust this year, once she want to put me on hold i terminated the call, they then rang back a couple of hours later

Number just called me but I didn't answer the phone - no message left. Searched number and came up with all of you! Have now blocked this number.

Very annoying as they call from other numbers once you block them.
Other Numbers they use: (02) 6188 5928, (02) 6100 5368

I had the same situation, I trusted google as well, never again, blocked number & emails.

unfortunately i just made the same mistake

Missed call, left a message. Said I had to call them back on given number or I'd be arrested. Probably related to the tax scam where they claim you haven't paid and there's a warrant out for you.

I too stupidly put in a competition application thinking it was a legitimate website only to stop my application half way through but the application must capture your details even if you dont hit submit. I have blocked this number yet it keeps calling through to my phone. I’m guessing they have some sort of software that can bypass the blocked caller function on most smart phones. Lesson here learnt!

My husband leaves his mobile at home now and just uses his work phone, for the past 2 years he has been getting the spam calls, I don't answer them and I block them yet they keep coming, have registered with the no call and makes no difference. I am going back to my server and ask for a new number. All this because I filled out a chance to win something, forgot what it was as it was so long ago.

I stupidly filled in my details from getting a message from Google saying that I had won an iPhone X whilst I was just surfing the net. I couldn’t get rid of it without continuing. Now I get texts, calls, emails. Some from d*ck Smith online and Woolworths rewards. It really seemed legit and had reviews from people saying they had won and received their prizes. I’ve been blocking as I get them, hopefully that’s all that will happen.
