Said his name was James from Telstra. Foreign voice with poor information when asked who he was looking form ....just kept quoting our postcode. Seemed to be all he knew. I asked for his number and this is what he gave me. I told him I would call Telstra to see if it was legit. Telstra did not know of this number.

American voice said he would issue a warrant for my arrest if I did not call back, call was on 5 December looks like he had a busy day

Got a voice message. That if you don't call you will be arrested. I called back the person didn't wanted to disclose his name and hung up. The excent wasn't Australian. He he didn't seemed confident. Be aware we get calls from ato, usually are no caller ids.

Called me leaving a message saying there was a lawsuit under my name (had the wrong name).
Called back and said it was the ATO and i owed them money

Caller: I don't know

Asked me for my details and sent a message saying they have two arrest warrants out to "get me arrested"

Called me and said they are calling from the ATO and the police are on their way to arrest me if i didnt pay $7998.00 immediately . foreign voice. I quoted a fake name and address and they went with it lol

Be careful with this number, I didn’t ring back after they left a message. Just something about a suitcase and it being found and would be filed under my name. Just found it to be way too suspicious.
