Caller: Fake Telstra Scammer

Indian Person Pretending to be Telstra Support

I received a ridiculous recorded voice message (robocall) requesting that I called back immediately to the Department (no specific Department name mentioned). If they didn't hear back from me, they would issue an arrest warrant. I called ACORN (Australian Cybercrime Online Reporting Network. Phone no: 1300 292 371, advice was to block this number and update the government site tracking this type of scam.

The caller claimed to be from a company who could do comparisons on electricity. I've blocked this number.

Caller: CYBER SECURITY AUSTRALIA (SUPPOSEDLY)

FOREIGN, POSSIBLY INDIAN ACCENT TELLING US WE HAD SOMEONE ELSE USING OUR IP ADDRESS OR EMAIL ACCOUNT OVERSEAS.
WAS VERY PERSISTENT AND EVEN CALLED BACK AFTER OUR FIRST HANG UP.

Caller: Fake Cyber Security saying someone from overseas is hacking our computer and they are sitting our computer down.

Indian lady would not give any details or phone number to call back and this number comes up as disconnected.

I just got a call from them,

rang telling me they were from Cyba Security, I hung up.
