I received a voicemail message on my home phone the morning of the 30th of July from a male with a heavy Thai accent claiming to be "Jason O'Connor" from the ATO. He said that I was being investigated for tax evasion and requested a call back on this number before my local police turn up with a warrant for my arrest. Clearly a scam, but I'm posting about this to get the word out in case anyone was scared by it.

Definite scam - same ATO tax evasion claim with the "have a nice day" to finish the message!
