Caller: Annoying surveyor on the election

I have had 4 calls regarding this election
Stop calling it’s now harassment, and if I find out which party it is I will sue them, of course except the liberals.

Rule 1 Don’t answer calls from someone not in your contacts list.
Rule 2 Unless they leave a message, their call isn’t important.
Rule 3 Open a contact and call it ‘Spam’. Add the number of the caller.
Rule 4 Open call settings for Spam and set ring tone to ‘silent’, do not vibrate, and block the number.
Do this for any numbers deemed worthy of adding to your Spam contact folder.
Any calls from Spam won’t ring and won’t vibrate. All you get is a message that you missed a call from Spam.
It won’t stop the calls, but they won’t bother you.

They called on home phone then on my mobile. Recorded message saying they are conducting a survey for the upcoming federal election.

Called 7.45pm and didn’t leave message. Appears to be a Canberra no, maybe to do with unsolicited surveys for federal election as others report.
Will block number, don’t need these pests calling

Unsolicited telephone call from unknown person(s).
My telephone number is listed with on the ACMA's "Do Not Call" register.
Spammer.scammer, do NOT call me again!!!!!!

Called me at 8pm on a Tuesday night. Didn’t pick up but looking g at comments it seems like calls about the election. Why call at 8pm it’s intrusive on personal time.

Called twice around 6 pm didn't leave a message or text . suss

Rang twice between 2000 and 2030 hrs on my mobile number, no message was left

Called twice, left no message. When I phoned back a recorded message said they are calling to conduct a survey about the upcoming federal election.

Rang 5 times in quick succession. Didn’t pick up. After reading reports here, I’m glad I didn’t.

Advance Australia is on their recorded message and they are conducting political surveys.

I have over 200 numbers under "Spammers" in my contacts list. I am so popular! :-P

Scam call from Canberra. Blocked.

Whoever these pests/robots are, they attempted to phone me at 7.46pm. In my home. At least I'd already blocked all (02) numbers as a result of the plague of scammers using what are for me interstate numbers, so I didn't hear the phone.
Please take the advice of so many of the authorities and do not ever answer calls from unknown numbers. And block the numbers of the countless persistent harassers of innocent people. Legitimate callers will leave a message so that you can return the call if you want to, or intercept the message if it's someone you may actually want to speak to. That's pretty rare these days.

Didn’t answer call from this number 7:45pm on a Wednesday evening. Searched and appreciate these prior reviews that this is an unwelcome nuisance caller and best to block.
