Called by this number. Obviously a scam based in nsw as the area code is from that state

Caller: Call center scammers

SCAMMERS pretending to be federal investigators looking into identity theft, and they just need to "confirm" your identity...DONT say anything other than some completely made up sh*t to send them on wild moose chase. Along the lines of james vietch replying to scammers comedy on YouTube. I Just reported this Australian number to Australian cybercrime authorities. So hopefully the number gets investigated. Probelm is this is just a burn phone number they likely have 1000's of AU network insert points.

Smile Direct scammers.
They called to put through my credit card transaction, which I thought was strange, but no more strange than the unprofessionalism of the questions asked. They had my name and credit card number. I ended the call and googled the number. Came up on other sites as a scam.

They called back from a blocked number and left no message.

Also called me and hung up after about 5 seconds when I answered. I stayed quiet and listened after saying hello once coz I'm always a bit wary of unknown numbers and it sounded like the caller was in the car driving. Mine is a new number and I have been very careful about where I give it out so no idea what it's about

Was also called by hung up when I answered. This is the 2nd suspicious number that has called since last night...suspect something with this number.
