ATO Scam. Recorded message advising arrest warrant issued.

Don’t trust anything that they say 100% scam complete scum bags

Come to work this morning and my message machine was flashing. when i listen to the auto message that was left, it said it was the ATO, there is a law suit against you, and a warrant has been issued for my arrest.
This must be a scam.

Got a call saying recorded message saying from Commonwealth Public Prosecutors Office for me to ring back if not they will get authorities to turn up at my workplace or home.

Just got a scam call from this number. It repeated an automated recording 3 times "This is final warning from Commonwealth" before hanging up.

Yes just got the same call from this number but I have also got the same message from another number too. Be careful people always make sure who you talking to and if they ever ask for money that should be alarm bells going off!!

ATO recorded message scam.

Got the same call myself. Robocall saying I was going to be arrested for tax fraud from the ATO and had to contact the number to prevent the arrest from happening. Same thing happened to my daughter a few weeks back. They very nearly got $$$ out of her too!!! I called the number and some Indian dude answered as "ATO how may we help", so be careful folks.

SCAM - recorded message claiming to be a "Commonwealth Prosecutor" from the ATO.

Received phone call with automated voice message stating warrant for arrest due to Tax Fraud. I phoned the number given in message and it was a voicemail to leave a message. I left name and number - doh!

What can I do to protect myself now?

As above - recorded message scam.

Received 2 calls within an hour.
