Yep - I feel sorry if an elderly person gets their message. It's quite threatening

Yes we too are receiving these calls, we are a registered business but the caller does not ask to speak to anyone specific or leave a referance number to quote.
Very amateurish call.

I've had two messages left on my answering machine in the past couple of days from this number. The message was identical both times - claimed to be an automated message from the ATO, that I had failed to respond to mail sent to my home address and that I was therefore being prosecuted for tax fraud and that either myself or my lawyer had to call the number as soon as possible.

I was tempted to call back for a laugh, to see what they'd say, but ultimately couldn't be bothered.

Just had a a message let for my elderly parents. Said he was from Taxation headquarters and was registering a case against them in there local region for tax evasion and fraud.. He said to call back immediately he wasn't very nice but I have heard this type of harassment going around I have told them to ignore.. Not very nice when they are both very ill

Scammer.. left a message for me. Said he was from ITO(?) headquarters and he was registering a case against me in the common ??? courthouse in my region for tax evasion and tax fraud. For further info I had to call back this number. He sounded very aggresive/pushy. It's rubbish. Don't fall for it.
