Digital voice using the name Kevin Shaw. Threatened criminal prosecution in Federal court. Referred to Tax evasion...I don't think so.

Clearly a complete scam. I received the same call this morning. What intrigues me about it is that I just lodged a tax return last week - it seems like a bit of a co-incidence but then again it that time of year.

Spam call pretending to be ATO, threatened legal action. DON'T CALL BACK OR GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. IF IN DOUBT CALL THE ATO DIRECTLY ON THEIR MAIN NUMBER.

I received the same call today three times. Warning me of a criminal case for tax evasion. I rang the number back and the person answered legal department ATO. Of course I hung up not wanting to give any personal information.
