Jason Brown called pretending to be a from ATO total BS apparently the police are coming for me because I didn,t pay my taxes.I told him to go ahead and send the police.

Apparently from the APU (who ever they are. Said i am in trouble tried calling back but telstra comes on saying not a valid number.. scam

Scammer pretending to be a "Jason Brown from the ATO" saying I was in trouble and going to be arrested and prosecuted by the ATO. Wanted personal details. When I asked which tax office he was from he replied " Can-beara" a dead giveaway in the incorrect pronunciation! Rang the REAL ATO and they said it is scammers from Eastern Europe trying to scare people into giving money, of which they are having some success. If in doubt, hang up and look up the ATO's numbers and call them for clarification.

Pretended to be from the Tax Office telling me that I was in trouble. It's not true, this is some sort of scam attempting information and/or indentity theft.
