I got a call from this number (02) 6100 8126 as well. It was recorded message which asked me to call on a number.

Received a call today. Not calling back.

Wow yes same robotic voice. I just said well send me the bill if I need to pay back centrelink and I will pay it. He promptly hung up! Bit scary so happy it is a fraud! Thanks guys!

One of those dodgy automated calls about police action if you don't call. They used to say something about tax affairs but not this time.

Robotic, mechanical voice claiming to represent the ATO, urging me to call back before I get a visit from the police. ;)

Another ATO scam number. I rang back and trolled him back. Was stuck on the question "What state (hehe) is Canberra in?"

Funny, he couldn't answer it :P Bit of fun for my morning.

We received an automated call from this number: "To avoid the police to visit you, call back immediately." I called back after searching for this number on the internet. The person on the other end claimed to be from the Taxation office. I said I would need evidence that they are authorised since I could not verify their number as being one the Taxation office uses. The caller hung up.
