Scam computer call about a fake arrest warrant.

Yesterday I got a call from "Commonwealth Grants Department". They were going to give me $7690. I said that the Government would know my account, just put it in. Then I said I would ring. An obvious scam. It concerned me that they knew my name and address.

Caller: They said they were from the Commonwealth Grants dept

Advised that because I have been paying my bills on time that I get rewarded with some money back. I got suckered have been living very poorly lately and I thought maybe some luck at last. I went to the bank to find they had deposited $900. I thought well maybe I can pay some bills. Then was advised that I had to go to a certain shop nearby to deposit money to go to and address they texted me. I went to the shop and the shop owner said don't do it- its a scam. So now I have $900. time to ring the bank.

Yesterday they were from Commonwealth Grants Commission handing out grants of up to $7000 to good businesses.

automated call about federal charges and arrests .. obviously didnt call them back .. very annoying !!

seriously who texts info about claims regarding federal courthouse and arrest charges?

Call from "Taxation Department" wanting me to return their call re tax dispute

Scam computer generated voice message claiming to be ATO and saying they had fraud charges against me. Demanded I call the number back!!!
As if!!! These morons are getting worse. Delete, delete, delete.
