This number on McAfee to cancel invoice for refund. Transferred to billing Melb number. They want remote access to computer and bank details- I called scam. Yet to finalise details.

I received a phoney invoice which listed this number to contact for refunds.

This phone number is now appearing on bogus emails claiming to be for renewal of antivirus software. Why spend money making phone calls when you can get the victims to phone you?

Received bogus email from McAfee about my non-existent subscription. Requesting a call back with this number if I thought it the email was an error. Seems the scammers have updated their modus.

Message from McAfee asking me to call to confirm my subscription (which I dont have) - def a scam.

Now being used for fake McAfee bill call back number

Mine was "John Smith" from Asio Tax Crime Division

this is a scam claiming to be ASIO and ATO, office John Smith (!). Do not call back.

Automated robot call claiming to be from the Australian Tax Office 'Anti Crimes Division'. Gives you a number to call back and if you fail to do so, they'll commence legal proceedings "and you deserve everything that comes your way."
...The ATO does not use such automated phone systems.

This is a scam number which people are asked to call regarding bogus ATO investigations.
