Called home phones and 2 mobiles twice today - scammers are getting desperate! Would almost be convincing if they weren't using TomTom voices, used Aussie words, didn't mention the non-existent 'ATO Crime Division' and didn't wish you 'good luck' with what would happen to you if you didn't respond within seconds...

Scam call regarding Tax Fraud.
I had some spare time so called them back 30 times, tied up their phone line for a while.

I had a missed call from the "ATO"
When I called them. Back, some foreign guy who sounded really unprofessional said I had to pay tax and they needed my credit card number.
I said the ATO would never require my credit card number.
With that he said f*ck off mate and hung up.

This number rang me and said they were the Australian tax office.
