received a voice main from this number in an electronic/ robotic voice with American accent. It said "Immediately when you receive this message you must call me back on my department number on 61004357. If you do not, we will have to issue a warrant for your arrest and have you arrested". Very strange. Seems like some sort of scam.

SCAM 100%..! ATO SCAM with robotic phone message..

Called me and I missed it. So when I called back, call failed.

Same here the voice said to call back or I get arrested. Maybe I should notify the police.

Same as above with arrest warrant American accent voicemail.
I did get through to an international accent man (sounded African) and he said his name was officer Timothy Smith. Kept asking me for my name and hung up on me when I got aggressive.

I’ve just received a call from this number. A recorded message played saying that it was the ATO and that there is a warrant out for my arrest. If I didn’t call back immediately I would be arrested. I called back twice and both times the call was cancelled by the receiver

same message as previous report.. voicemail.electronic voice. said " insert name, you must call back or an arrest warrant will be issued in your name." complete scam. do not return call. this is not how law enforcement of any kind operate in australia. if you get this call and are worried speak to the police.
