I got this call, too. Deeply suspicious.

It's a scam from people who claim to be the ATO.

Received a call from this number. Answered and they hung up.

got a call today from this number claiming to be the ATO.that i would recive money from ATO.sounds pretty suspicious.and i had to get a western union money form from the postoffice,to claim my money.

I got this call today, too, claiming to be the ATO. They said it was because I paid my taxes on time (not true, because I'm on a pension and haven't earned enough to pay taxes the last couple of years), paid my bills on time, and had no bankruptcies.They wanted me to call this number, and give a reference number to claim my 'rebate'. They had a strong Indian accent, there was a lot of noise in the background (phones ringing, people talking, etc).
