This morning my poor mother was in panic mode when she said there was a message on the phone from Jeff Morgan ATO Audit and that you should not ignore the call and it's urgent.

After listening to the message myself, which was automated and didn't even confirm who they want to speak to. The whole thing sounds like a scam to me.

I'm fairly certain the ATO are likely to serve you notice by post than call you.

called and left message saying it was from the taxation office..trying calling number back but number couldn't be connect saying to check the number
