This is the ATO voicemail Scam again - just using a new phone number - I've now had calls from 3/4 different numbers that are the same thing - ATO Crime Investigation department - Agent John Smith. yadda yadda yadda - same as all the others.
These calls have been made to my mobile for the past 4 weeks and are a complete scam.

Supposedly from ATO Investigation Division, saying they were going to send Police to arrest me for taxation fraud. Told me I should pay the money or get a lawyer and fight it in court. Guy claimed to be Agent David Brown, had a strong accent, possibly Chinese or other Asian. Sounded as though it was electronically distorted as well. When I demanded he explain what they were talking about, he hung up. Pretty obviously a scam.

Some bloke says he is with ATO legal hung up when I questioned why etc
