This is a nasty tax office scam number

Persistent calls from an American accent. At first there was a red card alert from the tax office. This has changed to a serious Commonwealth government problem. SCAM!!!

What Govt department uses a computer generated voice to leave a message? So obviously a scam

Complete scam, recorded American voice telling you an arrest warrant is in your name, and unless you call them back, legal proceedings will commence, i spoke to George Conner with an indian accent on that number, when questioned if they are actually from the ATO, they get get pretty angry swear and then hang up.

Rec a message stating they are from the ATO saying they have an arrest warrant on my name, pending legal proceedings, I rang the number and George Connor answered with an Indian accent and told me to ring back tomorrow after 9:30 am, I contacted the ATO direct and there is no arrest warrant, but it is a scam to get you to send money or hand over banking info.

This number is definitely a tax scam....do not reply to the message they send you.

Scammers repeat calls ... Have reported to police ...Pity more isn't done to trace these scammers.

I had a recorded message that left this number but what I called them back and was not forth coming with my details they hung up on me I call police assistance line to report it and it was already well known to them.

I just had a phone call asking me to call back on this number - saying that there is a warrant out...the voice is an american voice. Weird
