automated voice stating warrant out for my arrest from Commonwealth Dept of Tax Office!! had to urgently ring this number.
I rang Police Link and Qld Police and gave them the number - they are lethal - hang up and report numbers. they are using a lot of different numbers if you look at comments

Several calls 14th & 15th Oct - person stating they were from the Australian Tax Office with warrant out for my arrest. Failure to pay "in cash - nothing traceable by card" at the one of 2 Asian groceries in Adelaide would stop this arrest. Was asked if I had a lawyer, failure to pay would also result in house, car & frozen bank accounts. I naturally refused to pay, received 2nd call, allegedly from the local police station telling me patrol cars would be sent immediately. I put the kettle on, waiting for my visitors & they were a 'no-show'. Reported it via Scamwatch & ACORN. Police in SA don't have resources for these scams.

These arseholes called my elderly mum today. Frightening sh*t out of her. She called me at work in tears. Have reported number to QLD police and police link. Arseholes.

Same as Roxanne. I think it is a text message sent to a landline but for what I cannot say. Hopefully just phishing.

this is a recorded message with a robot voice telling me someon is going to take legal action against me if I dont call back and that it is a time sensitive matter
