Repeated calls about charges relating to a serious criminal offence supposedly having been laid against me. Legal consequences if I don't respond. Police will be involved etc.

Call received from this number claiming to be from Australian Taxation Office notifying criminal case would be instituted against me for fraud and tax evasion.

Received a call from this number saying from the ato and that I was being investigated for tax fraud and tax evasion

Asian guy called saying there is a criminal matter about to go ahead regarding me about a tax fraud. I said "Really? So you do realise I am a tax agent then?" And he hang up. I called the number back and it says the number was disconnected. Telstra, do something about these overseas scammers and them posing as calling from local numbers. How hard can it be. So sick of getting these calls - EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!
