Caller: “Detective Sarah Allen” Claimed to be Detective Sarah Allen (with an accent making this unlikely), from a cybercrime unit speaking quickly with a wall of information informing me “not to be alarmed” but I have been subject to a data breach. When I said this has the markings of a scam call she was very quick and insistent to say that it wasn’t. I told her, send me her full name, registration number and the agency she’s calling from and I will look them up and call their public number. She hung up.
This is a scam known by the AFP.

Same thing basically saying they are from AFP. Gave me their badge number but how do I confirm who they are.
