The usual scam amazon recording going around saying my prime account will be charged 99.99 today. Dont have a prime account!

As mentioned above, another scam to steal money from the unsuspecting victim.

They left a VM saying that i was going to be charged $99.99 for Amazon Prime, unless i called them back today to cancel. Classic SCAM call!!!

Apparently is Amazon prime and my subscription is going to End if I don’t pay money which I don’t even have an Amazon account so definitely a scam

Caller: Reckoned they were from Telstra

Said that NBN would be replacing the fttp cable due to numerous complaints about slow internet. Asked me to do a speed test then download and install APP "Teamviewer Quicksupport" . He then wanted me to read out the Teamviewer ID that showed on the screen. Luckily I realised (nearly too late) that this would give access to hack into my phone. I promptly uninstalled the APP. then hung up the phone. No doubt about it, calls from this number is a scam and if sucked in can cause untold trouble, not only to your pc/tablet/phone but could ultimately give access to passwords, bank details, etc enabling a significant financial theft to occur. BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
