Called saying warrent out in my name for parcel that had dangerous goods in it. Hung up getting sick of scammers.

Caller: Someone pretending to be from Optus

Person called offering 30% discount on Optus phone bills 'because of COVID' (it's March 2021). Didn't seem to know my name or any of my details. Asked for my date of birth, and when I refused to give it, got quite upset that I wouldn't share it. The call came up as being from Castle Rock in NSW. Optus sent a bill a few days before with no mention of a discount. Beware!
