Dodgy number. One if many I’ve received over the last fortnight. Cane to this site to verify they’re bogus. Thankfully listed as a nuisance number so blocked caller.

V odd. Caller ID shows a + sign in front of this number & I've had a call from similar number with + 1 in front. International caller perhaps, if so TPS ineffective. Dodgy anyway! I have an android phone, so thankfully can block.

silent call just received from this number

got call today at 17.12 hrs caller, clearly a foreigner claimed to be from "Dept of Environment & Climate Change". I mentioned telephone preference service and caller tactfully got off phone. I called number back to try and identify caller but recorded message advised number not known.

Call received at 18:24 on Wednesday, 11 January 2012.   Did not answer as number not recognised.

Claimed to be from the "consumer information board".  Asked for me by name and then asked if I was the home owner at which I told him it was none of his business and I didn't believe his organisation was genuine and hung up.
