Claiming to be from Visa and asking if I had made a purchase from Amazon or Ebay. Also trying to find out what state I lived in.
I had two missed calls recently from similar number, one ending 2515 and the other one 2517.

Bad connection at start, sounded like an African accent, male. Asked if I knew $400 payment taken from my Apple Pay, then asked if I knew a payment had been taken from my Mastercard. I asked him which bank my Mastercard is with, he gave me the wrong answer. Reported the number to https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/
Suggest you do the same with all scam numbers.

They call speak Indian and hang up.
