Message left claiming to be the taxation office with a pending court case and a warrant for my arrest.

We are having elderly clients phoning our accounting firm to see if this is true. The ATO would never leave a message on your home phone in regards to a pending court case and warrant for arrest. Please make this clear if you have elderly relatives, neighbours or clients.

Obvious SCAM. I got the same call as detailed by Dee. I received a similar call last year and reported it to the ATO. Although last year there was no "reference number"

Recorded message saying tax office have a warrant for arrest unless I call this number.

This is a scam do not even bother to call it back please tell all elderly family and neighbours about this

Just got the same call Roy. Computerised voice, claiming to be ATO.

I received the same phone call! Recorded message, first time warning me that someone was about to file a complaint, then to tell me they had and there was a warrant out for my arrest! TOTAL SCAM!!!
