Missed call today with no voicemail message left. Said the call originated from Bathurst NSW. I have blocked it.

Scam number, said they were from Amazon

Didn't answer mobile phone potential fraud

Said was from Telstra and I was getting a discount on my next 7 months of accounts

Caller: Supposedly Mike from NBN

Someone called Mike asking about my NBN connection, I responded politely by asking him to please remove me from the call list as I do not have an NBN connection. Rude prick hung up before I could get the word connection out. Scammer for sure.

Caller from Telstra asking if I'd noticed my internet was slow. Chinese accented lady. When I said 'No, I haven't noticed', she hung up.

Caller said they were from Telstra about my internet connection. I immediately hung up as I knew this to be a scam call. Investigating the number I found people not only reported this number being used by scammers for Telstra but also Amazon, Paypal, Bitcoin etc.

Left a message, which was a recorded voice speaking in what sounded like Chinese. Scam

Scam call saying they were from gmail security - had my gmail address and phone number. Blocked them and changed my gmail password.

Caller: Amazon scam

Recorded message for Amazon say subscription would be renewed for $99 ... hung up and blocked the number

Checked this site against the number, missed call no message. Reported them to Report A Scam Australia.

I had an NBN FTTP tech installation planned with Optus. A person Kevin claiming to be from Optus & NBN advised my appointment was set but they needed more info - asked me to download application "anydesk.com" so they could take over my computer to find the socket no. of my modem. Realized a scam and hung up, but was called back 8 times from different telephone numbers. Funny that a scammer called precisely when I was dealing with Optus & NBN.
