I've now resorted to blocking all calls from (02) numbers because I'm in another state and have only been getting a flood of scam calls from these numbers.The first attempted call from this number came in before 9.30 this morning, but thankfully I didn't hear it.
Please do not answer any calls - none - from these scamming lowlifes, and advice other people to ignore all calls from unknown numbers. (Legitimate callers leave messages.) Block the numbers if you can. Many landline phones enable the blocking of a series of numbers such as all numbers starting with 02 or 025119. We have to try to put a stop to this intolerable plague until the authorities manage to do something about it.

Unknown number - caller hung up when they got voicemail message.

Annoying, mother 88 hard of hearing nothing on landline. No answer just hangs up.

Return from a series of calls with 5119 prefix in early August. They're trying again. When will the government stop these problem calls?

I think this is also linked to (02) 5119 5264 and (02) 5119 5363. Very annoying. Never leave a message.
