Scam call. Automated elaborate message left. Stated that I had a package coming to my home and that I needed to call them back. Call was two days ago.

Number was unfamiliar so didn't answer the call. But voice mail claimed I had placed purchase order of $299. Dodgy eh.

Recorded Message. Said my account has been debited by ebay for $299 odd with options 1.if I wanted to cancel it press 1, didn't get 2., and 3 if I wanted to talk about this press 3. By the time I arranged number to push, I was disconnected. I replied to the incoming Number. Answered by an Indian male who confirmed to me I would have to pay $300. He said he will guide me through this. All he got from me was brand of phone, and I pressed any app on Home screen. I chose calender and gave him details of what was on screen. I hope this didn't give him access to my home screen as we were then disconnected and I tried to phone him back, got same bloke but appears he hung up.

Called repeatedly stating I have bought something I know nothing about. I advised I was on the do not disturb register and would report him. The man is very rude and simply likes to argue. I have activated block unknown callers on my phone for the time being.

Robotic voice saying that it was eBay confirming the purchase of 200 and something dollars etc. I hung up
