Caller: Old mate from Anembo

Rang and didn’t leave a message. Reckons they were calling from Anembo. Which person out of the 66 people that live there was it? Hahahah. As if an important phone call would be coming from the middle of bum f*ck nowhere.

If you took the time to read “3rd party data sharing” policies on all the apps you use you would know it’s not the government doing it it’s you letting them

Judging from other posts, this must be spam .... Phone screen showed 'Anembo', googled this, it's in the Snowy mountain region. I called back and got the engaged signal.

Rang, I didn’t answer, no message left. Second time this week getting calls from random small towns in NSW.

I got two different calls from two unknown numbers. Guessing someone scrapped every Optus number and because Australia unlike nz requires I'd makes it prime target for spammers. Good luck scammin me because I'm broke and don't have a good credit. I don't accept calls from unknown numbers. Beware tho others with Optus in Aus has been hit with robo calls in both English and Chinese. Soon as you pick up it automatically hits you with more spam. So change your number (pain if everything is 2fa..) or alternatively whitelist friends/business partners and never pick up unknown numbers like me. Foxtailedcritter

Im getting a few of these from different numbers, av one a week.

Called me twice on a Sunday, after not answering a call from (02) 6406 9879 earlier the same day. Phone detected both as Suspected Spam. No message left.

This number keeps calling but don't leave a message when the call is unanswered

(02) 5118 9791 This number keeps calling never leaves a message. I had scammer calls down to pretty much 2 a month untill Optus breach now they are coming in some times 4 a day. I delete more calls then I answer. So over it.

Pests, many many calls, but I don’t respond if my phone doesn’t recognise the number.

That strange place is apparently in the Snowy Mountains.

This is our responsibility. We can crush it.

Dont answer phone numbers that you don’t recognise and where a message isn’t left.
