sounded like it was made from an industrial complex excessive drumming noise in back ground . unable to make out i think they said it was a marketing company .

Since mid-April, I have been constantly harassed by someone calling from an assortment of spoofed numbers. At first, the numbers were based in Bairnsdale, Victoria. Then it was Warrnambool. Then it was Melbourne. In total there have been over 60 such calls so far, which I always reject. It seems the caller is extremely persistent, and now has tried spoofing a Canberra number, which I also rejected. They just don't get the message that I don't want to talk to them. Maybe they are continuing to call, in the hope that I will eventually answer one of their calls, just to stop them. I believe that would be a mistake. What I have discovered is that ALL of the spoofed numbers are allocated to a company called SYMBIO NETWORKS, including the one from Canberra.

It is very obvious that whoever is calling me is a scammer, and so I will continue to reject all calls from numbers I do not recognise.

I have reported this issue to SCAMWATCH, but nothing has changed. The calls keep coming.

To all the genuine callers out there (such as charities, politicians, survey companies, etc.) who will no longer be able to contact me by telephone, I sincerely apologise, but that's the way it has to be until the authorities find an effective way to stop the scourge of scammers....

When I rang back they answered "Hello" (no company name etc) I said "You just called me, what did you want" & she said she was from the security dept of eBay. I blocked the number.
