Hassled

I have received calls from seven different numbers for Lion Finance, my debt was sold to them without my knowledge, I have received calls from at least ten different people leaving names and reference numbers, there are rules as to how often you can be called and maybe they get away with it by having these calls come from 4 different states, they send text messages and none of these messages say who they are, just send a letter and be up front, they call family members, elderly family disclosing why they are calling and causing only worry for then, appalling behaviour, but no one seems to care I guess because of the connection to big banking and they get away with it

Imprudent Conjecture...

...from the goose below. Perhaps YOU should relax and stop taking your dull and dreary career choice so seriously, in that you stoop to posting under an imperious pseudonym yourself. You know nothing about anything and the fact of the matter is you employ unethical and unfair, if not dubious methods to chase up those who are just a number to you. Why don't YOU stop making aggressive calls without any knowledge or concern for situations which are likely sensitive and require prudent discretion, and come up with a more ethical and appropriate tactic. And how arrogant to assume "everyone would be happy" if they simply paid up. Your employer & stakeholders may wear a grin but I doubt you'd be any different, lemon sucker.

They have access to a few databases. You will need to disconnect your mobile number as they will be able to track you via your Mobile Number and Drivers Licence via RTA. Also, the privacy commissioner would like to hear from you if they track you again because it is proof they have access to confidential databases. I also heard that they can look at your Medicare records to see what area you last have seen a doctor and what procedure you had in place to triangulate your whereabouts.

They keep calling on different numbers, I know it's Lion finance but I've blocked them all. But I have absolutely no debts and on the credit savvy credit score site it says I have one financial relationship with them but a unspecified amount. It's ridiculous.

Relentless Bullying tactics, they purchase your debt from say, another finance company at a fraction of the price about 10% you pay that debt believing it is going back to that finance company - it is not - when you send them the good news that you are no longer going to give them one more cent - the calls to your mates and elderly family start - and when you have paid them thousands of $ for a small debt, it becomes annoying to say the least - report them to fair trade - And the calls still come - Bully tactics don't work with me.
Take me to court for the remainder of the so called debt, we will let the Magistrate decide.

I agree totally, they keep hassling elderly family. They ring anyone with same surname, and try to extract details, without giving their details. Even harass people on facebook
