this is a taxation office impersonation scam re routed through a server in Bowral new south wales they when asked will rattle off aussie sounding names like david miller then ask for your tax file number total wankers all Indians as I called 4 times and told them what I'm gonna do to them they didn't like that and hung up on me

Totally agree with comment above. These people are ringing and leaving me a message on landline every week or two over the past six weeks. They pretend to be from the ATO and threatening imminent arrest over my tax avoidance. Here I am dealing with my accountant and the ATO in the normal manner at this time of the year anyway sorting out my yearly tax return - never had a problem and above board. Criminal activity afoot by these scammers no doubt. They will frighten the elderly living quietly in their homes when they receive a call like this. Disgusting !!

A chance to talk once I realised it was a reverse number I hung up.
I got another automated one today once again a scam
Saying I had committed tax fraud and my arrest was iminent. I have reported them to the ATO fraud line.

I just received a call from this number too. It plays an audio about tax avoidance and threatening to get arrested if i don't call them back.

yes theyve rang me twice today...i hung up....im no fool,,,,just leave me alone!!!!
