Are they really Telstra or are they a scam. They asked to speak to Miss (our surname). I asked which one. Woman seemed to be confused. Said something that I couldn't understand and hung up. Um I am very deaf. My Captel phone is slow. People often hang up on me.
I don't know why they rang but suspect a scam.

Caller was claiming to be from Mastercard/Visa telling me that at 04;00 this morning someone had attempted to withdraw $300 from my account. Bank has no withdrawals of that amount. Spelt out the word SCAM several times then hung up

Said they had been trying to contact me as they were going to turn off my nbn in 24 hrs, so needed to call their tech.

Ignore - I have had calls from this number but then no reply when I try to call.
Obviously a spam call

Heard my answerphone and hung up - always filter incoming calls now

This number has been calling my home landline all week.

Hung up when I answered. Husband had the same call yesterday.

No message left = blocked number

No-one speaks when I pick up the phone

I answered . The computer on the the line said "goodbye" & they hung up!!!!
