14-March-2023. Credit Card Scam - Indian accents. Starts by saying Security Department has recorded 2 overseas transactions on your Credit Card at 4 am today. They ask which bank you are with, then put you through to that bank. In my case (CBA), the call is then transferred to (alleged) CBA, CBA phone menu is played and as soon as the "Press this button voice menu finishes", you are magically transferred to another Indian accented person (without having to press a button). When I did not comply with his instructions, he called me an a**hole and hung-up.
