Had a call from this number claiming that they are from the NBN saying that my phone will be disconnected in 24hrs and that I had to press 1 to speak to a techniction. Sounds like a scam to me considering that I'm already on the NBN and the old copper wire network was shut down months ago.

Seems like this number has been hacked by someone. Pity the person who owns the number. Must be a robo call using their number considering that my landline number is a slient number.

NBN SCAM!!

Caller: Claimed to be NBN

This number was a recorded messages claiming to be Nicole from the NBN co. That the NBN was in my area and my service would be cut off (think it said within 24 hours) if I didn’t organise now. Of course there were options to press buttons but I didn’t stay on the line long enough to listen as knew it was a scam. These scammers are getting more sophicated if they’re able to use known landline numbers or are they now able to hack peoples NBN numbers? Either way scam and beware!!
