Advised me that my internet was going to be disconnected due to issues with my computer. Hung up on him. Do they think we don’t have antivirus and VPNs?

Caller: Jack from "Telstra technical floor'

Passed around the office to fix my technical fault on my computer..like Telstra regularly does. hang up quick!

Called claiming they Were from the Telstra Internet department and I had an issue. Said I didn't have internet ha ha they promptly hung up.

My WiFi was going to be disconnected. Voice sounded Asian I just hung up

Answered the call (called a business number), no answer from anyone on the other end and was hung up on.

received 2 calls claiming internet is going to be disconnected for up to 90 days.
called their bluff and reported it to Telstra

Just called me on the landline. I let it go to the answering machine and, of course, they hung up but thanks to the two previous posts, I now know who they were. Next time I might answer and then just walk away and leave them hanging!

Caller claimed that my internet would be disconnected due to "virus and suspicious activities". Ask me to turn on my computer and he'll talk me through "fixing the problems". Yeah, sure.
