Called and no one on line... no one answered when I rang back on work phone..

They claimed to be Amazon Prime - advising that they would be renewing my account (which I don't have) and if I didn't want to this, I should press "1". I then got a second call from 0407 020 435

Caller: i dont know

Called on a Nowra NSW number and claimed to be 'from the banks security department' foreign accent - I hung up then blocked the number.

Caller: Scammers

Pretending to be Telstra security. Very bossy.
100% dodgy.
Caller ID says Nowra, Australia.
Probably spoofing that.

No idea what the call was for. I’ve blocked the number. I don’t answer unknown numbers and they didn’t leave a message. I read these comments and blocked it straight away. It was the second call in a few minutes.

Some sh*t about a subscription. Blocked and deleted

I didn’t answer but just before that I had a phone call from another number about an amazon subscription. I assume they are the same scamming operation

Caller: Second call from Telstra rep

Managed to get them to call me back and wasted another 6 minutes of their time before they hung up

I had a call, clearly from an Indian call centre claiming that they were with Telstra and that my internet "was not at all safe". Clearly from the comments above this is a scam, just hang up.

Didn’t speak then they hung up and it now says user busy

Claimed they were from Commonwealth Bank regarding a potentially fraudulent payment on my card. Then asked for information like the last known transactions on my card. Foreign accent, broken English. I was immediately suspicious of the call and when I asked for further details as to why this information was required they got aggressive. I hung up. They did not call back.

Recorded message to confirm eBay purchase. No activity on my eBay account. Scam.

Call centre - this is a scam. They claim that someone is using your internet connection from California and also in Australia at the same time. They then want to access your computer. They hung up once I said my sister was using my internet connection from California.
