Pretending to be from the Do Not Call register
unsolicited call left no message Caller: scammers
they said they were from the do not call register, I didnt believe them so hung up and looked online, the do not call register doesn't call you for any reason, so please hang up on these scammers
Caller asked do you own this number, I said yes I paid a lot of money for it she giggled and hung up, thick accent. Caller: I Don't know
It seems if you were listed in the phone book they know your name. Very thick foreign voice so denied who I was and hung up. A scam of some kind I'm sure.
