Caller: NBN Internet Scammer Robocall saying that my internet would be cut off in 24 hours.
Obvious scam.
Do not go to any websites they suggest. Do not download any software they want you to download.

Caller: Visa Mastercard scammer Robocall from the Visa/Mastercard Fraud Department saying that $500 had been debited from my visa and mastercard by someone making purchases from amazon or ebay.
The usual press 1 to stop the transaction. So I pressed 1. The woman who came online said that $500 had been debited against my Visa or mastercard to buy something on amazon or ebay.
So being curious I asked: 1) who made the purchase? 2) what did they buy that cost $500 3) where did they buy it from.
All perfectly reasonable questions I thought. The woman seemed confused by these questions so I had to repeat them several times.
When she finally worked out what I was asking (and that it was not covered in her scam script she hung up.
They usually want you to go to a website and enter all your details: (email, username, password, credit card details etc.) so that they can steal your identity and money.
Otherwise they will try to get you to download some remote desktop control software (anydesk or something like that) This way they can get control of your computer and all your personal info. They can also leave virii, ransomware or spyware on your computer sop they can access it later.
Do not download any software that they want you to download.
