One ring then hangs up same number has done that three times this week.

Foreign lady asked if my name was Karen. (should of said yes in a deep voice)

They've called me a few times over a couple of months. I'm familiar with the number. Always a Chinese sounding female. Number originates in Wollongong. I just yell at them and they hang up. I avoid saying my name or answering 'yes' as they could be recording for voice recognition purposes.I have called back and the number is disconnected.

Tell anyone who calls you in a scam like this that they are being redirected to the AFP. They will soon hang up and the calls will become more infrequent.

SCAM which originated through a company called Click2Sell.

Foreign voice Kept asking if my name was Mr ........... is that your name mr dead give away to me said not interested and hung up

the phone rang 3 times, I picked it up and said hello no answer, said hello again, still no answer, so I said fine don't talk then and I hung up. I waited a couple of minutes and was advised by Optus the number I was ringing had been disconnected, go figure, I then blocked the number!!

Picked up & no answer, then hanged up.
Tried to call back & disconnected.
Don't bother. Just Block
