Caller id showed Wollongong but I don't know anyone there and no message was left. Seems dodgy.

As others indicated call from Wollongong. Voice message from computer generated voice saying I owe thousands of dollars and call back one of representatives if it wasn’t me. Obvious scam.

In Perth, call came through and I don't answer interstate calls as I don't have anyone calling me who I know. Answered this one accidentally though as I have a new flip phone and was hoping to Reject it but this stupid phone doesn't have Reject that's easy to access.

And opening it up automatically answers it. Just put the phone down straight away and opened up this site to see if anyone else had got calls from this number and there was!! So here is my entry.

Similarly my call was from Wollongong - don't know anyone there so didn't answer it. At all times I don't answer unknown calls and respond only if their message is legit.

Caller: Scammer

I've had this work mobile for 2 weeks and today enjoyed my first scam call.
The usual pre-recorded message, something a $300 charge on my VISA and a pending further charge

Caller: "Visa Security Department"

Just received a call from an american speaking woman, she said she was from Visa Security Department and somebody had taken $300.00 from my account and something about another transaction for $1,300.00.
This was obviously a SCAM call.
